The transformation of industrial production towards carbon neutrality will necessitate major investments in R&D and new technologies. Some say that the "smart money" is already pouring into climate-conscious trailblazers both amongst established industry leaders and innovative start-ups, and that these first movers are seeing significant upsides in their businesses while old, polluting installations and technologies are fast becoming obsolete stranded assets.

Together with our Supporting Partner, the Austria Wirtschaftsservice (aws), we are searching for Austria's most promising Start-Up in the field of Sustainability and Green Tech.
The aws will lead the selection process of the Green Peak Award. 4 of the most promising Green Start-Ups will get the opportunity to pitch their business in front of the GREEN PEAK FESTIVAL crowd, on the 22.09.2022 at the MAK-Vienna. The winner will be selected through a voting-process, where our audience can pick their favorite Start-Up and crown the winner.
